"Better burger than In-N-Out. And I will stand on that ever since I had discovered this place close by I eat here about 3 to 4 times a week. Now I do get the same burger every time, but that's because this place cannot miss With a great options to the menu and even better dessert, this place has me waking up craving a burger every day I feel like this is a hidden gem so if you're ever in the area, this is a must stop"

"I'm not sure why anybody says this is better than In-N-Out Burger. Most of the food is frozen, and either microwaved or fried. It's certainly a good value and a great spot for a pinch, but this is not tasty food. However it could be! Pick up Costco burgers and serve them, instant upgrade while minimally increasing cost"

"Amazing value! They've kept prices down which loyal customers appreciate. They are a forestville tradition! We come multiple times per day. Their fries and shakes are so good!"

"I had not been there in a few years since I have been there. It was just as I remembered the place. The building is from the 50's and not much has changed. Younger people my think the place in a little run down. I call it patina. It's just like the independently operated burger joints I recall as a kid. The food was great. I had the French dip and fries. My coworker had a double cheeseburger."

"Great roadside spot. Cheap and friendly service. Tried the new Korean chicken bites and they were delish! Not too much breading on them! Cant beat any of these prices in Forestville."

"6/14/25 I never give five stars, especially at a diner or drive in but here I must make an exception and here's why. Nostalgia, on a hot summer evening it's perfect. Let's go to the drive in. It was clean at 2:30 in the afternoon and they get business, today's Saturday. The bathroom was clean, which is hard to find these days, I mean really clean. Here is a big one, no flies. I don't put this in my rating factor but the your gal working here is drop dead beautiful which brings back the nostalgia thing. Oh to be young again. The prices are great, the food good and hot. I'll be back soon for it all. A must if you are on a river run."

"I'm not going to sugar coat it; the food isn't the best. But the prices are so low and it's such a pleasant place to sit at and hang out. This place definitely caters to the locals over anyone else and I think that's exactly how it should be. It's their restaurant, not mine. Long live Carr's"
